Graffiti Artist since Day One
Born 1970 in Mainz/Germany. Since the age of 7 he has sketched and painted
1983: First painted Graffiti in Mainz, from then on 3 years of practice on paper (color sketches)
1986: He did his first Graffiti Job, a Graffiti-Project at his school; got his first airbrush,
1987: Invitation to Hip-Hop Jams in German cities (Munich, Dortmund and Hamburg)
1992 - 1995: He moved to Hamburg to study Illustration/Graphic Arts at the „Hamburger Technische Kunstschule“ (Hamburg School of Technical Art)
1993: He got a talented group of his friends together, both the famous and the not-so-famous, and formed the "Stick Up Kids". The foundation of their friendship is what separates this crew from the rest and in this sense "crew" isn't really the best way to describe the "Stick Up Kids", they're more like a tight community of writers who are close friends..
1996: He designed the first “Stick up Kidz“ T-Shirts, together with his friend and Graffiti Artist ATOM of Dortmund
1996 – 1998: Freelancing at an Artist-Agency in Frankfurt, Graffiti Jobs for several companies such as VIVA (TV-Station), Toys ‘R‘ Us, Nestlé, Bosch, Lufthansa, Telekom, Red&Green, Coca-Cola, Bahlsen, Frankfurt Zoo…
1998: Together with Europe’s biggest spray can producer, the Kwasny GmbH, he created 20 new colors, new names for the colors and new cans, focused on the needs of Graffiti Artists (Oxygen-Colors)
1998 – 2001: Freelancing at an advertising company in Mainz, responsible for layouts, for web pages and the web pages of clients. Graffiti Jobs for several companies
2000/2001: The readers of Germany’s biggest Hip-Hop Magazine “JUICE” voted CAN2 the 2nd favourite Graffiti Artist in Germany, in the year 2001 he is voted the 2nd favourite Graffiti Artist worldwide
2001: Founded his own Street Wear label called “Stick up Kidz”
2002: Founded his own Agency for Illustrations, Graphics, Web Design and Aerosol Art; together with the spray can company Montana, he created his own color called „CAN2 Blue”
Innumerable invitations to Hip-Hop Jams in Germany, Europe and the rest of the World (New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, South Africa, USA, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Holland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Poland, Russia, Iceland, Switzerland…)
